Tekno has started construction supervision for this 150- beds paediatric hospital in September 2021, designed by AMPC & JFA Engineering, and financed by UNDP.
The design is an interesting blend of local architecture and modernism. It also demonstrates that climate adaptiveness and sustainability measures can be put into practice yet the building can be cost effective; defying the reputation of sustainable solutions of being costly. Social responsiveness translates in provision of spacious waiting areas, and gender segregation; dealing with it within the cultural context.
