SMC is a comprehensive medical city project; aimed at elevating the healthcare services in Sudan.
As part of this nationwide scheme; six regional hospitals will be established in major cities across the country.
SMC Khartoum is the regional hospital of 150 beds capacity to serve the city of Khartoum. The hospital resembles the futuristic image of envisioned healthcare facilities in Sudan, in terms of components and facilitates; as well as architectural design. In addition to all relevant components that comprise a general hospital, SMC Khartoum has a cancer center and medical school facilities. To cater for patients outside the country, there is a 200 room hotel associated with the complex.
